Strong Foundations. Superior Results.
Structural concrete slabs poured with vapor barriers and reinforcement suited to damp Northwest ground.
Whether it's a garage floor, shop, or building foundation slab, moisture control is critical in our climate. We install proper vapor barriers, compacted aggregate, and reinforcement to keep slabs dry, flat, and crack-resistant. Control and expansion joints are laid out to manage the stresses of seasonal ground movement. The finished slab is cured correctly so it reaches full strength before it's put to work.
Vapor barrier guards against ground moisture; Reinforcement controls cracking and movement; Flat, true surface ready for finishes; Engineered joints manage seasonal stresses; Full-strength cure before use
1) Excavate and grade the slab area; 2) Install vapor barrier and compacted aggregate; 3) Place reinforcement and set forms; 4) Pour, screed, finish, and cure
Slab area and thickness; Vapor barrier and reinforcement specs; Sub-base excavation and compaction; Finish requirements for the intended use; Site access for concrete delivery
We target the dry summer season so slabs cure evenly without rain disruption to the finish.
