Updating kitchen wiring, outlets, and circuits to safely support modern appliances and meet current code.
Modern kitchens demand more power than older wiring was designed to deliver, and an electrical upgrade brings your circuits up to safe, current standards. We add dedicated appliance circuits, install code-required GFCI outlets, and correct outdated or overloaded wiring found in many older Puget Sound homes. All work is permitted and inspected to satisfy WA L&I and local requirements. The upgrade prevents nuisance trips and, more importantly, reduces fire risk.
Safe capacity for modern appliances; code-required GFCI protection; dedicated circuits that prevent overloads; permitted, inspected, and reduced fire risk
1) Assess existing wiring and load needs; 2) Plan circuits and pull electrical permits; 3) Run new wiring, outlets, and GFCIs; 4) Pass inspection and restore finishes
Number of new circuits and outlets; panel capacity and any upgrades; extent of old wiring replaced; permit and inspection requirements
Electrical upgrades are best scheduled when walls are open during a broader remodel, often in spring.
