What This Service Involves

Fresh drywall and joint compound absorb paint unevenly, which is why a dedicated primer coat is the foundation of a lasting finish. We apply a quality drywall primer-sealer that equalizes porosity between the paper and the mud, preventing flashing and photographing at the seams. Priming also improves paint adhesion and can cut the number of finish coats needed. This step is essential after any new drywall install, patch, or skim-coat before color goes on.
