What This Service Involves

Flashing is the layered defense that directs water away from a window and out over the siding, and poor flashing is a leading cause of hidden wall rot in our region. We remove trim as needed to inspect and install proper head, jamb, and sill flashing integrated with your weather-resistive barrier. Every lap is oriented to shed water downward and outward. Correct flashing protects your framing, insulation, and interior finishes for the long haul.

1) Expose the window perimeter and assess existing flashing; 2) Install sill flashing and pan as needed; 3) Layer jamb and head flashing to shed water; 4) Integrate with the weather barrier and reinstall trim
