What This Service Involves

A gravel driveway is an economical, natural-looking option that suits the longer rural drives common outside the Puget Sound urban core. The key to one that does not rut or wash out is a compacted sub-base, proper crowning, and edging to hold the rock in place. We grade for drainage so our heavy rains run off rather than pooling on the surface. Gravel is easy to top up and repair over time, keeping long-term costs low. We build it right so it stays usable through wet Northwest winters.

Our Process

1) Clear and grade the driveway path; 2) Install and compact a coarse sub-base layer; 3) Add and grade the surface gravel with a crown; 4) Set edging and compact for a firm, stable finish
