What This Service Involves

Underpinning strengthens and deepens an existing foundation that is settling because the original footings no longer reach adequate bearing soil. We work in carefully sequenced sections, excavating beneath the footing and either pouring new concrete or driving piers down to stable strata. This is skilled, methodical work that stabilizes homes affected by the variable and sometimes soft soils found around Puget Sound. Each section is completed and cured before the next is opened so the structure stays supported throughout. The result is a foundation transferred onto solid ground, halting movement and protecting the home above.
