What This Service Involves

Footings are the widened concrete bases beneath walls and posts that keep the structure from sinking or settling unevenly. We excavate trenches or pads to the engineer's dimensions, place reinforcing steel, and pour footings sized to the loads and the bearing capacity of your soil. In areas of Puget Sound with soft or variable ground, correctly sized footings are what prevent cracks and differential settlement later. We set the footings level and true so the stem walls or piers above start from an accurate base. Each pour is inspected for depth, steel, and dimensions before concrete goes in.

Our Process
